The program rewarards those who take public transportation, rideshare, walk or ride a bicycle to work.
Many La Sierra employees participate already, and many, many more could be earning money and rewards while at the same time helping to reduce air pollution.

Here are four simple steps to make La Sierra University a greener campus:
1. Turn it off
Conserve energy by turning off lights, computers and appliances when not in use
2. Toss it in
Reduce waste by throwing paper, plastic and aluminum into recycling bins, not the trash
3. Take a Friend
Save fuel and money by sharing a ride with a friend when going shopping, out to eat, or home on the weekend
4. Use it again
Eliminate garbage by replacing throwaway plastic bottles with reusable water bottles and take reusable bags with you when shopping to eliminate harmful plastic bags
KEEP IT GREEN!
